Kristen and Adam are currently blowing up Instagram with photos from their amazing adventure of a honeymoon, so it seemed like the perfect time to give their wedding some love on the blog!

These two are such a genuine, loving couple, and I felt absolutely privileged to be a part of their wedding. They know who they are, and did an incredible job of incorporating their personalities and things they love as a couple into all of the little details of their wedding.

First of all, they chose their priorities for their wedding and ran with it - they threw an intimate party surrounded by their nearest and dearest, with absolutely to-die-for food. Lux Steakhouse was the perfect setting for this. They had gorgeous bouquets and floral centrepieces by FaBLOOMosity, and delicious cupcakes by Whimsical Cake Studio.

Next, let me just rave about their musical choices. When I first saw their ceremony music selections, I was SO excited. These two love movies and have great taste in music, and they picked the perfect music for their wedding ceremony. It was music that suited their personalities, but also set an elegant and romantic atmosphere for their wedding ceremony. Here are there ceremony songs:

Groom's entrance and processional: Concerning Hobbits - Howard Shore (Lord of the Rings Soundtrack)

Bride's entrance: Here Comes the Sun - The Beatles

Signing of the register and recessional: Hedwig's Theme - John Williams (Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone Soundtrack)

For dinner music, Kristen and Adam had chosen classic jazz, which was the perfect compliment to their intimate, elegant wedding. Think Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole... you know, all the good stuff!

Cake cutting song: A Kiss to Build a Dream On - Louis Armstrong

Lastly, their first dance. Okay, I'll admit it - I get teary at most first dances. Yes, even after DJing more than 100 weddings, I'm still a bit of a romantic. Well, Kristen and Adam's was no exception! They chose The Rainbow Connection by the one and only Kermit the Frog, and although it was lighthearted and fit the newlyweds perfectly, it was also very sweet and romantic, and I know I wasn't the only one reaching for the tissues!

The dance was a blast, and included a great mix of old and new music to keep friends and family grooving together. It was awesome to see both sides of the family dancing together!

Here's what Kristen had to say...

"Stacey was absolutely amazing! She was so quick to answer our emails, and had tons of great tips and music suggestions in our pre-wedding meetings. She was also fabulous at the actual wedding, she played a great mix of songs and had everyone dancing! We would love to work with Stacey again and would 100% recommend her to anyone in the area looking for a super sweet, talented and professional DJ!" - Facebook Review

I can confidently say that it was 100% my pleasure!
