Kari + Elliott's Fun, Laid Back Wedding on the Riverboat

On one heck of a hot day in June, Kari and Elliott got married aboard the Edmonton Queen Riverboat. These two were extremely laid back, and every time we got together they made me laugh - they have great senses of humour, and I have a feeling that I'm not the only person who they made feel like an instant friend from the first time we met.

It is always a pleasure to work with Sheri Colautti of Capture It! Photography, as well as her second shooter, Lindsay Hood - both of these ladies are a ton of fun to be around, and I would recommend them without hesitation for your wedding photography.

This couple wanted a lot of classic rock, country and older pop, mixed in with new music. They also loved David Gray, Norah Jones and James Blunt, and wanted music from those artists incorporated into their wedding ceremony. Here are some of the musical highlights of their wedding:

Wedding Ceremony Songs
Groom's Entrance Song: Old Pine - Ben Howard
Bridal Party Entrance Song: Now And Always - David Gray
Flower Girls Entrance Song: Hey Ho - Lumineers
Bride's Entrance Song Love Me Tender - Norah Jones
Signing of the Register: Bonfire Heart - James Blunt
Recessional: On Top of The World - Imagine Dragons

Wedding Reception Music:
Grand Entrance Song: Shut up and Dance - Walk the Moon
First Dance Song: I Choose You - Sara Barielles
Father Daughter Dance Song: When you Need Me - Bruce Springsteen
Last Song of the Night: Hina Na Ho - Susan Aglukark

Here's what the bride and groom had to say:

"Again, thank you so very much, everyone had wonderful things to say about you, the biggest thing is they said you knew how to read the crowd and you played wicked music, everyone had a blast!"
